Truecaller joins hands with MapmyIndia and FactChecker; users will get reliable Covid-19 data
Truecaller has partnered with MapmyIndia and FactChecker, which will help in providing reliable facts about Covid-19 and improving healthcare service.
Truecaller came up with an announcement that it has joined hands with MapmyIndia and FactChecker to improve its Covid-19 healthcare record, which launched last month on the platform.
FactChecker checks facts and verifies numbers to provide 'quick relief' to patients. MapmyIndia will give 60,000 Covid related information, including vaccination centres, Covid-19 hospitals and test centres. Users will easily get information and the location of the place by clicking on MapmyIndia.
The directory has been added to the platform, and a user can access it from the menu or the dialer. This will give authentic resources with reliable phone numbers and addresses of Covid-19 hospitals. It will work as a search button for the users.
The feature doesn't provide information about the availability of the hospital beds or medical facility but helps users to get assistance.Â
Google had also announced adding a feature on Maps to provide users information about beds and medical oxygen in selected locations along with hospitals and medical oxygen suppliers. Google has planned to roll out this feature to more places.
