The Tokyo Olympics saw the Indian archer's mixed-team run come to an end, as the pair of Deepika Kumari and Pravin Jadhav were knocked out in the quarters by South Korea.
In what comes as a heartbreak for India in the ongoing Tokyo Olympics, the Indian archers failed to draw a medal in a category. South Korea ousted Deepika Kumar and Pravin Jadhav during the mixed team's event in the quarterfinals 2-6.

The Korean par of An San and Kim Je Deok won the first two sets 35-32, 38-37, following which the Indian pair bounced back with 37-35. Nevertheless, the Koreans sealed the deciding set 36-33. Earlier, the Indian pair had knocked out Chinese Taipei's Lin Chia-En and Tang Chin-Chun 5-3 in the pre-quarters.
