ICC Champions Trophy: Rahul Dravid, Sachin Tendulkar say leave money, play cricket

India may pull out of ICC Champions Trophy 2017.

This controversy has been going on for quite some time now.

ICC Champions Trophy Rahul Dravid Sachin Tendulkar urge India to play

Rahul Dravid and Sachin Tendulkar have made it quite clear with their statements that Indian cricket should not suffer because of money. BCCI has hinted earlier that they might pull out of the ICC Champions Trophy 2017, which is scheduled to take place in England and Wales from June 1.

The legends of the game have asked to leave money and play cricket. Not only Dravid and Tendulkar but many other former Indian cricketers -  Zaheer Khan, Gundappa Viswanath, Sandeep Patil, Sanjay Manjrekar, Aakash Chopra, Ajit Agarkar, Venkatesh Prasad, Saba Karim, Murali Kartik, and Deep Dasgupta, have also said the same.

All are of the same opinion that India should play in the Champions Trophy and by no means, they should pull out of the tournament because of monetary issues. However, the Committee of Administrators has clearly mentioned that BCCI cannot pull India out of Champions Trophy without their permission.

A Special General Meeting has been called and the India's fate of Champions Trophy will be unearthed on May 7.
