Two women who escaped from the clutches of a flesh racket in Sharjah, alleged that the international sex ring is operated by a Malayalee youth. The victims submitted a complaint to State Police Chief Loknath Behra alleging that the sex racket also takes the nude visuals of victims to blackmail them.

The complaint said that Shanavas, a young man from Kaniyapuram in Thiruvananthapuram was the kingpin of the racket and many foreign women were also victimised by the ring. One of the complainant is a employee of Sharjah government service. Shanavas allegedly trapped these women by offering to marry them.

One of the victims, who was about to exchange vows, chanced to meet the first wife of Shanavas and realised he was cheating her. Later, she found photographs and videos of the man with many girls of various nationalities. She also came across messages that suggested that he was part of an international network that supplied girls.

Even though Asianet News contacted Shanavas in Sharjah, he refused to respond.
