Huma Qureshi to get into the skin of soft-porn diva Shakeela

After Vidya Balan played Silk Smitha in 'The Dirty Picture', it is now the turn of to get into the skin of another South Indian soft-porn sensation.  

In his next film, a biopic on Shakeela, who ruled the soft-porn movies that ran to full houses in Kerala in the late 90s, Indrajit Lankesh is planning to cast Qureshi in the lead. The film will be released in  Hindi.

In his last movie, 'I Love you Alia,' Lankesh had given Shakeela a guest role along with Sunny Leone. There were rumours that Leone will also be featured in the biopic on Shakeela. But the director has revealed that Qureshi will do the main role in the film. 

Meanwhile, in which she stars alongside superstar Mammootty, is ready for release. The film, directed by Uday Ananthan, is expected in theatres in August.
