RULES FOR THE ORGANISER

1. NO DISORDERLY EVENT:
Organisers should ensure that all the necessary precautions are in place

2. WRITTEN PERMISSION FROM COLLECTOR:

  • A written permission should be sought by the concerned organiser from the district collector a month before the event is scheduled.
  • Permission for participating bull tamers must be sought from the Collector
  • Arrange for the bull tamers and other participants enrolment should take place 14 days before the event begins

3. SAFETY PRECAUTIONS: Strong and sturdy sticks will serves as barriers for both animal and humans must be put in place. When people come to watch the sport, the gallery must be safe and protected by using double barricades.

4. ANIMAL TESTING: Get a fit animal certificate from The Animal Husbandry Department. In turn, the AHD should only issue the certificate, once they deem the bulls to be are drug-free, and fit to participate.

RULES FOR THE COLLECTOR

1. SAFETY FIRST:

  • Collectors should ensure that the venue has double barricading in place and should be at a minimum height of six-feet
  • See to it there the prescribed limit in the gallery should not exceed based on the Public Works Department recommendation
  • Get a safety certificate from the Public Works Department

2. MEDICAL:
Ensure that there is medical aid, facilities, and a team are stationed at the venue

3. WATER:
Adequate drinking water must be available for all

4. ANIMAL TESTING: With the help of the Animal Husbandry Department, must ensure that the animal is fit and free from drugs and other diseases

5. POLICE:
Adequate police personnel must be there at the event in case of unruliness


10. BASIC GROUND RULES:

  • The District Collector must notify the event place
  • Permission can be granted, modified or denied depending on the circumstances
  • The venue should be suitable as well as having a track record of holding the event for 5 years in succession
