The body of a woman, who has been accused of murdering her husband and child, was reportedly found in a public well in Kunnamkulam near Thrissur on Tuesday.
The woman's younger son's body was also recovered from the well, according to a Mathrubhumi report. The bodies were identified as that of Prema (45) and Suprim (6).
The two had gone missing since Tuesday morning, and the bodies were found in the well in the afternoon following a long search. The fire and rescue services personnel shifted the bodies from the well to a nearby hospital. A suicide note was also found from their home later.
Prema was the prime accused in the murder of her husband Suresh and their elder son back in September while they were living in Andhra Pradesh.
Prema was arrested in the case but was granted bail soon after, following which she moved back to Kerala. She had been reporting to a police station in Andhra every month.
