Suicide or murder? Cops, parents clash over 16-year-old's death

A 16-year-old girl was found dead in her room on July 29 at Pathanapuram in Kollam. The police state that the girl committed suicide, but the parents are not ready to believe that version. 

Rincy, a plus one student was found dead in her room. It was her mother who spotted her body on the floor. The parents also filed a complaint with the police that one of the doors of the room was left open and the girl's chain was missing. 

However, postmortem report confirmed that the girl hanged to death. As the police failed to find any other evidence proving murder they concluded that the girl committed suicide. 

However, the parents are not ready to believe police and are demanding a probe by Crime branch. The neighbours also allege that the police probe was not efficient while the cops state that the parents are not cooperating with them.
