On crucial day for Dileep, what will Appunni reveal?
- SIT has summoned Appunni, Dileep's manager, who is likely to surrender before police on Monday
- Officials are of the impression that Appunni is the only person who knew about Dileep's every move
- Police expect to find evidence establishing direct links between Dileep and Pulsar Suni
Monday will be very crucial for Dileep as the Special Investigation Team (SIT) has issued the notice to Appunni, the manager of the actor. The Kerala High Court had denied an anticipatory bail plea of Appunni and had ordered him to appear before the police for questioning.
The police are planning to question the manager on Monday, and his statements are likely to prove dangerous for the actor. Officials are reportedly of the impression that Appunni is the only person who knew about Dileep's every move, including the conspiracy against the actress.
He was the first person to get a phone call from Vishnu, the inmate of Pulsar Suni in jail. As per reports, Appunni received calls from some other crucial numbers as well.
The police had identified four phone numbers to which Suni had frequently called before abducting the actress. Interestingly, soon after Suni called to those numbers, all the four persons called Appuni. It was also found that the manager had called back to these four numbers.
They were constantly in touch over the phone from November 23 to February 17, the day on which actress was attacked.
Meanwhile, Appunni had said that the calls were made by Dileep and not him. The actor was believed to have been trying to get bail before his manager was arrested as Appuni's statement is considered by all to be crucial in the case.
Police also reportedly believe that Dileep was contacting Suni through the four persons known to Appunni.
At present, statements of Kavya, Rimi and Anto Joseph are contradicting Dileep's. By questioning Appunni, officials expect to find evidence establishing direct links between Dileep and Suni.
