Manju Warrier was not Dileep's first wife, says police

Dileep's relative have allegedly told police that Manju Warrier was not his first wife. 

Dileep was married to his distant relative before he got married to Manju Warrier, who was his co-star in several films. The actor's first marriage was registered at the Marriage Registrar's office at Desam, Dileep's native place near Ernakulam district. 

Several persons, who worked with Dileep knew about this. Police took the statement of actor-mimicry artist Aby, who was Dileep's friend since his early days in the industry.

The investigating officials got the hint about the first marriage of the actor while questioning his relatives. As per reports, the woman is now staying in Gulf. 

The officials got a hint about the first marriage of the actor during the investigations. Though they got the news as early as July first week, the matter was not revealed until more evidence was acquired. 

Dileep married Manju Warrier 1998. The couple formally parted ways after 17 years of marriage. They ended their marriage on June 5, 2013. Dileep then married Kavya in a small ceremony at a private hotel in Kochi on 25 November 2016.
