Two days after media reports that it was Dileep who excluded actress Lakshmi Ramakrishnan from the movie 'Calcutta News' the actress herself has now come up with an explanation. The actress clarified that she did not name Dileep.

Lakshmi Ramakrishnan, who shot to fame after Nivin Pauly starrer 'Jacobinte Swargarajyam' however agreed that during an interview she had said that she was considered an unlucky actor and was excluded from 'Calcutta News' directed by Blessy. However, Jacobinte Swargarajyam proved that I am not an unlucky actor, she said. 

"After reading my interview, Dileep called me. The actor said that he neither made any such comments nor asked someone to exclude her. The matter was clarified, and I don't have any issue with him," she said.

The actress also said that she is getting hundreds of inquiries about the incident. I had acted with Dileep in Chakkara Muthu, and he was very decent to me on the set. I won't make comments about an actor who is in judicial custody and on a matter that is sub-Judice, Lakshmi said. 

Earlier, a statement made by actress Bhama too was misunderstood and the actress had to come up with an explanation that she did not name Dileep.
