Kozhikode: Dogs drag out body with no head, legs from garbage heap

Locals found the body, which belonged to a man, at the Karassery panchayat, according to reports. It is understood that the body was stuffed inside a gunny sack and discarded near a garbage heap a few days ago.Â
The body was discovered when stray dogs dragged the body out from the bag on Thursday. The police have started an investigation into the case.

On Wednesday, human palms were found from the Chaliyam area in the district. One palm, which had a chain on it, was found on Wednesday evening along the coast, while the second palm was also discovered from the area later.
The police are trying to find out whether it has any links with the headless body found on the roadside.Â
