The police have registered a case against actor Aju Varghese for naming the victim in the Kochi actress attack case, in a post on his Facebook page.

Aju had mentioned the victim’s name in a Facebook post on June 26, in which he extended his full support to Dileep and stated deliberate attempts were being made to frame the Malayalam superstar in the case.
After the incident snowballed into a controversy and women's activists slammed the act, Aju tendered an apology in a new post and also edited his previous post to remove the actress' name.
