After Dileep, Kavya too puts the blame on Manju Warrier

Two months after Dileep got arrested for alleged role in actress attack case, his wife and actress Kavya Madhavan has approached High Court seeking anticipatory bail. The actress states that the Special Investigation Team (SIT) probing actress attack case is trying to frame her. 

She has approached the court through Advocate B Ramanpillai, who is also Dileep's counsel in the case. Kavya approached court a week after Dileep's close friend and director Nadirshah filed an anticipatory bail plea in the court in connection with the case.

The actress claims that the SIT is behind her just because she is married to the actor. Interestingly, just like in Dileep's bail plea, Kavya has also raised contentions against actress Manju Warrier and director Shrikumar Menon. She has also raised allegations against the police and ADGP B Sandhya, who is in the team probing the case.

In her bail plea, Kavya states that ADGP Sandhya is close to an actress who alleged conspiracy in actress attack case. It was Manju Warrier who alleged conspiracy in the case just a day after the attack. 

Kavya also states that director Shrikumar Menon is also likely to be a party in the conspiracy that led to the arrest of Dileep. The actor had earlier said that Shrikumar Menon was involved in the events that led to Dileep's divorce with Manju Warrier. This led to enmity between Shrikumar Menon and Dileep, Kavya states in her bail plea. 

She has also said that the police is providing an opportunity to Pulsar Suni to make statements before media while being presented before the court. This also leads to a media trial. By allowing media to record the 'Sradham' visuals performed by Dileep, the police force insulted us, the actress said in the petition. 

The 'Madam' is just an imaginary character created by Suni. Police are trying to defame me, who is also a winner of state film award, she states.

The officials are also trying to force relatives and friends to give a statement against Dileep by threatening them. The investigation team even went to the extend to say that Dileep won't get out of jail if he dares to question ongoing probe, the actress says in her plea. 

Kavya further clarifies that Dileep doesn't know Pulsar Suni and has never met him. However, Suni and his aids had tried to contact Dileep, but it was for blackmailing the actor. Dileep had informed the DGP about this, but the police are making false allegations against the actor. 

Senior officials of the police department and a section of the media are trying to ruin the life of Dileep and his family members. The SIT is probing about those who visited the actor in jail and comments favouring him on social media. 

Police claimed that Pulsar Suni had visited my house, but now they say that the register in which the details of his visit was recorded is missing.

They also allege that Suni was my driver. I got two drivers, and there is no need to appoint another one. I have never met Suni in my life, the actress states in her bail plea.
