Here's why Dileep thinks Shrikumar Menon has a grudge towards him

The hearing on Dileep's bail plea is continuing on the second day as the petitioner's side took over three hours to finish their argument. The prosecution will present their side on Wednesday, and the court will decide after hearing both sides.

One of the main arguments put forward by Dileep's counsel Ramal Pillai was that the police is crucifying the actor based on statements made by a criminal. He also said that the accusation of Dileep's role in the conspiracy is only another tale fabricated by Pulsar Suni, the prime accused, who is a habitual offender. 

Raman Pillai contended each point raised by the prosecution and also explained why he had brought the name of ad film director Shrikumar Menon and Manju Warrier in the case.

He said that the director developed enmity with the as he believed that Dileep had tried to disturb post production works of his upcoming movie 'Odiyan' in which lead character is played by Manju Warrier.

It was Shrikumar Menon who played a vital role in Maju Warrier's second entry. Her first project was the advertisement of Kalyan Jewellery, which was directed by Menon.

Dileep used to represent the brand, and the actor's counsel said that the director removed him and instead introduced Manju Warrier as the brand ambassador of Kalyan.

Dileep had also stated that the police switched off the camera when he gave statements against the director. He also alleges that Shrikumar Menon has close ties with the son of a leader of ruling Front. The plea also states that Shrikumar Menon has some grudge towards Dileep.

The actor has stated that he was framed in the case as part of a plot by some persons in the film industry who want to sabotage his future.
