The remand period of Dileep will end on Tuesday, and there are reports that he is likely to move High Court once again seeking bail. The bench had denied his first application raising serious concerns. The actor too seems to have changed his tactics and has appointed a new advocate to handle the case. Senior advocate B Ramanpollai will represent him in the court this time, instead of K Ramkumar.

Here's what we think of Dileep's chances of getting bail on Tuesday.

The bail plea submitted by Ramanpillai is likely to have some major changes from the one drafted by Ramkumar. The advocate is most likely to point out that the situations, under which first bail application was rejected, have changed considerably. This is the only condition under which the court is likely to grant bail to Dileep.

The High Court had earlier said that granting bail to the actor will have a serious impact on the probe as his manager was in hiding at that time. The police were yet to recover the mobile phone and memory card used for recording the visuals of actress attack.

It was based on these arguments that the court rejected the plea. After reviewing the case diary, the court said that there is primary evidence against the actor.

However, the situation has changed since last time Dileep approached the court.

The police have arrested advocate Pratheesh Chacko and his assistant Raju Joseph, who had allegedly received the memory card and phone from Pulsar Suni. The advocates informed police that they had destroyed the evidence. Though the officials are not ready to believe their statement, they were not able to recover the evidence.

Further, Dileep's manager Appunni too appeared before the police and gave his statement.

However, statements given by Kavya Madhavan, Rimi Tomy and Appunni are new pieces of evidence the police have against the actor, and the court might deny bail if it is convinced with the arguments of the prosecution.
