Pulsar Suni and co-accused Mestri Suni were produced before Kakkanad Magistrate Court as their remand period expires on Monday. Suni had already filed a bail plea, but the court postponed the pronouncement of the decision to Tuesday.

Kerala police had requested the court to extend his custody so that they can take him to Coimbatore for evidence collection. However, he was not taken to Coimbatore. The prosecution argued that he was being questioned about the conspiracy in actress attack case and the police did not get enough time to take him for evidence collection.

Suni's lawyer argued that the police should have taken him to Coimbatore and what the officials did was against the law and hence the accused cannot be kept in custody further.
While returning from court, Pulsar Suni told Asianet News he has already given the statement on conspiracy related to the case.
