Close on the heels of farm loan waiver, State BJP gears up poll preparations
- State BJP president MP B S Yeddyurappa has given a call to all members to start poll preparations.
- Ticket aspirants have to work as Vistaraks for 15 days along with 100 member work force from their respective constituencies.
- BSY also assured he would meet and try to convince PM Modi and Finance Minister Arun Jaitley to waive off farm loans in nationalised banks.
FollowWithin 24 hours of farm loan waiver announced by the ruling Congress government, the State BJP has started gearing up for poll preparation, with M P B S Yeddyurappa assuring he would attempt to convince the Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley to write off farm loans in nationalised banks, briefing about the conditions of farmers in the State.
BSY has also given a call to all BJP leaders, workers in the State to fully dedicate themselves in poll preparations. All ticket aspirants should work for strengthening the Party along with 100 member workforce from their constituency for 15 days as Vistaraks. This should be completed by July 25, he instructed.
Speaking after inaugurating a meeting of State BJP office bearers and district presidents and vice-presidents at BJP headquarters in malleshwara, BSY said everyone should strive strengthen the Party. Including himself, everybody should put efforts to work as Vistaraks, he said.
The three senior leaders of BJP who were not seeing eye to eye in the past one year, put aside their differences and came together and discussed freely. This was a surprise for the members. State BJP president B S Yeddyurappa, leader of the Opposition in Cabinet Eshwarappa and National Coordination general secretary B Santosh discussed in a heart manner.
The BJP proposed agitation of June7 has been tentatively postponed as the State Government has waived farm loan giving in to BJP’s threat and the Party takes full credit for loan waiver said BSY. He would meet and attempt to convince Prime Minister Modi and Finance Minister Arun Jaitley to waive off farm loans in nationalised banks also he said.
