The portfolios will be allocated and the Cabinet will be formed on Wednesday in Karnataka, said the Congress and JD(S) spokespersons. The announcement on likely departments to be allocated also will be made soon.

Talks are still being held and the final list will be out on Wednesday and according to sources the Cabinet will be formed and Ministers will take charge at 2 PM June 6.

JD(S) has taken charge of key portfolios and it is said that Energy Department, so farm managed by Congress' DK Shivakumar too has been taken over by JD(S).

Here are the tentatively allocated departments to the JD(S) and Congress parties.

Both the parties have decided to form a committee and appoint one spokesperson each from JD(S) and Congress and hold a meeting once a month to decide on important issues that need attention.
