Amrutha also called as Manjula and Ammu is in Bengaluru with Sailaja and Sarathy couple. Amrutha has claimed that she is the love child of Jayalalithaa and Shobhan Babu.
Confirming the fact that Jayalalithaa and Shobhan Babu were in love, popular poet Arudra's wife Ramalakshmi has given the interview to a Telugu media and had said that Jayalalithaa and Shobhan were madly in love with each other.
The photo of Jayalalithaa serving food to Shobhan Babu was taken during the shooting of the movie Gorintagu in Jayalalithaa's house. She arranged for food for the entire crew of the movie.
It is said that Jayalalithaa and Shobhan Babu were all set to marry each other, but Shobhan's wife was successful in preventing this marriage. Jayalalithaa was in love with Shobhan despite the fact that he was already married, writes Jaya'a long time friend Vasanthi in her book Amma.
According to Amrutha two persons, Rajini Ravindranath and SLV Lalitha have witnessed her birth and were asked to make a promise to Jayalalithaa that this issue should never come out in public.
But in 1996, Sailaja had asked Amrutha to visit Jayalalithaa at her Poes Garden house, which Amrutha did. "When I met her, She hugged Me and enquired about Me. Though I met her few more times, She never told me that I am her daughter," reported Telugu website Thupaki, as said by Amrutha.
Amrutha is said to have visited Poes Garden house more than ten times, and Jayalalithaa was very friendly to her.
But after Jayalalithaa's death, when her nephew Deepak and niece Amrutha claimed their ownership over Jayalalithaa's legacy, one of Jayalalithaa's relative broke then news to Amrutha. The relative's name has been kept secret, but Amrutha has said that she is ready for a DNA test.
She has demanded that a narco analysis test or which is also known as lie detector test be done on Deepa, Deepak and Sasikala, who claim to be Jaya's legacy.
Amrutha has written to the Supreme Court, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and President Ram Nath Kovind to consider her plea to conduct a DNA test and narco analysis test for others. She has also demanded CBI inquiry into the secret of Jayalalithaa's 75-day hospital stay. Amrutha is said to have told that she has a suspicion that Sasikala and Natarajan have played an important role in the death of Jayalalithaa.
In her applications she has told that she has no faith in justice from authorities in Tamil Nadu, so her statement should be taken secretly, and a DNA test should be conducted.
