Ganesh Chaturthi special: KSRTC deploys additional bus service to distant travellers
KSRTC has deployed additional 1,200 buses from Bengaluru. These buses will leave Bengaluru on September 11 andSeptember 12. Likewise, from respective places, buses will leave for Bengaluru on September 16.
Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) has deployed additional buses to help people going to their native places from Bengaluru on the occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi festival.
Ganesh Chaturthi festival will be celebrated on September 13 and one day before that is the Gauri festival. Thousands of people who are working in Bengaluru go to their hometowns for this festival. Thus there is mad rush in booking tickets for the buses and other means of transport including trains.Â
Keeping this in mind, KSRTC has deployed additional 1,200 buses from Bengaluru. These buses will leave Bengaluru on September 11 andSeptember 12. Likewise, from respective places, buses will leave for Bengaluru on September 16.
Accordingly, buses will start from Kempegowda Bus Stop (Majestic) towards Dharmasthala, Kukke Subramanya, Shivamogga, Hassan, Mangaluru, Kundapur, Shringeri, Horanadu, Davanagere, Hubballi, Dharwad, Belagavi, Vijayapuur, Gokarna, Siri, Karwar, Raichur, Kalaburagi, Bellary, Koppal, Yadgir, Bidar and Tirupati.
There are buses that will start from Mysuru Satellite Road to Mysuru, Hunsur, Periyapattana, Virajpet, Kushalnagar and Madikeri.
Buses have also been arranged from Shanthinagar bus top to go to Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. Additional buses will operate from the entrance of Shanthinagar Unit 4 and Unit 2.
Buses going to Shivamogga, Davanagere, Tirupati, Mangaluru, Kundapur, Shringeri, Horanadu, Subramanya, Dharmasthala will also be avaialable at Peenya, Basavesharanagar bus stop, Vijayanagar, Jayanagar 4th Block, Jalahalli Cross, Navarang in Rajajinagar, Malleshwarama 18th Cross, Banashankari, Jeevabhima Nagar, ITI Gate, Ganganagar, Kengeri Satellite bus stops.
