After Water Resources Minister M B Patil alleged his and his family members and close associates’ phones are tapped, Ministers in Siddaramaiah Cabinet, D K Shivakumar, TB Jayachandra and Ramalinga Reddy have also alleged that the phones of Congress leaders are tapped, reported Kannada Prabha.

Energy Minister D K Shivakumar alleged that his phone is tapped daily and also alleged that he is being followed.  Jayachandra and Ramalinga Reddy said the phones of Congress leaders are being tapped but did not say their phones are tapped.  Speaking to news persons on Tuesday D K Shivakumar said not only M B Patil but his phone is also being tapped every day.  Not only tapping phone he is being followed, observed all his activities, he said. He said such activities have been observed since the day he took charge as minister. He said by engaging in anti-Constitutional activities ‘they’ are trying to weaken him but he will not be cowed down by it.

Home Minister Ramalinga Reddy said he had mentioned earlier also that the phones of Congress leaders are being tapped. M B Patil has said that he will prove it with evidence. However, he said his phone is not being tapped and even if they did it is useless. M B Patil and Vinay Kulkarni are emerging as Lingayat leaders and it has caused lot of heart burn to BJP, he said.
