Indian Super League giant ATK Mohn Bagan has made its first signing ahead of the 2021-22 season. It has roped in Indian winger Liston Colaco from Hyderabad FC.
Colaco hails from Goa, as he had represented FC Goa for three-season, where he managed to play just eight games without any goal-scoring success. As he moved to Hyderabad, he played for a couple of seasons, scoring seven in 39.
Aged 22, Colaco can also play as a striker while also possesses speed and dribbling abilities. Meanwhile, since the number of overseas players for the ISL sides is to be reduced, club boss Antonio Lopez Habas wants to reinforce the squad with Indian talents.
“It’s a great honour for me. It feels great to know that i will play for Kolkata in the Green-Maroon jersey. A new chapter has begun in my football career. I will try my best,” said Colaco to ATKMB upon being roped in.
