West Bengal: Dissent in BJP’s factional unit comes to the fore in viral audio clip

The dissent in BJP's factional unit was out in open and soon the Trinamool party jumped at the opportunity. An audio clip of conversation between Mandal president and district president has gone viral. However, the BJP has claimed these as minor issues.

As soon as the Bihar elections will end, the poll bugle in Bengal will blow off. Opposition in the state, BJP has already started strengthening its position in Bengal. However, Trinamool factionalism continues in the state.

However, before polls, an audio clip of BJP has gone viral. A quarrel in the party’s factional unit has been recorded in a viral audio clip. Recently, Vivekananda Patra, the party's organizing district president, threatened to remove Siddheshwar Kundu from his post, who is the president of Bankura's Chhatna constituency No. 3. He also attacked a BJP MP from Bishnupur.

In the audio clip, the district president said, “Bishnupur MP Soumitra Khan has not yet forgotten the Trinamool. He does not follow any rules and regulations of the BJP.”

Siddheshwar Kundu, president of Chhatna Mandal, has admitted that this audio clip is true. However, he said that he would not talk about the party's internal affairs unnecessarily. Many in the BJP are disappointed with the name of MP Soumitra Khan coming out publicly. The members of the BJP have chosen to keep mum thinking about the party’s image before the election.

However, the higher leadership is well aware of the fact that there is still a conflict within the party with those who have jumped ship from Trinamool. The local Trinamool leadership has been vocal about this. According to them, the dangers of Trinamool are now BJP's assets.
