West Bengal BJP chief Dilip Ghosh undergoes CT scan
The health condition of West Bengal BJP chief Dilip Ghosh, who has tested positive for COVID-19, improved on Saturday (October 17) after his oxygen saturation levels and other parameters stabilised. A CT scan of Dilip Ghosh’s thorax was done on Saturday (October 17) afternoon after doctors found “some defects in his lungs”.
West Bengal BJP chief Dilip Ghosh, who is suffering from COVID-19, has contracted a lung infection. However, doctors still do not know how far the infection has spread in the lungs. Doctors are worried about the health condition of the BJP chief.
A CT scan of Dilip Ghosh’s thorax was done on Saturday (October 17) afternoon after doctors found “some defects in his lungs”.

Doctors treating Dilip Ghosh at a private hospital said, “The health condition of West Bengal BJP chief Dilip Ghosh has improved on Saturday (October 17) after his oxygen saturation levels and other parameters stabilised. His overall condition has improved as his fever has gone down.”
“His oxygen saturation levels are normal and all his vitals are stable. He is on a normal diet. The future course of treatment will be decided after the CT scan reports are received," the doctor added.
Dilip Ghosh was admitted to the hospital on Friday (October 16) after his COVID test report came positive.

Earlier, BJP MP Locket Chatterjee, Mahila Morcha president Agnimitra Pal, BJP leader Joy Bandyopadhy several other BJP leaders were infected with COVID. A few days ago, Dilip Ghosh's security guard and his driver were also diagonised with the virus. The BJP leaders and workers are worried after the party's state president was infected with COVID. All the members of the party have wished for Dilip Ghosh’s speedy recovery.
