Amid COVID pandemic, an organization in East Midnapore has brought a new innovative ambulance service in rural areas. The 'Toto Ambulance' service has been launched by an organization called 'Bipanbandhu', considering the problems of the people in village.

The 'Toto Ambulance' service has been launched by an organization called 'Bipanbandhu' in memory of the late Buddhadeb Bhowmik, former district council chief and social worker. This service has been launched by the company, considering the problems of the people in village. The company has launched this ‘Toto Ambulance’ service at a cost of Rs 1.5 lakh. The Toto ambulance has been providing health services in different parts of the district.

According to the organization called 'Bipannabandhu', the ambulance will be used for various health services including medical, emergency, medicine. Ordinary people will get this service for free. In addition, the members of the organization said, “Four-wheeler ambulances are difficult to move on the roads because of the small area. As a result, ordinary people are deprived of proper services in times of danger. Toto Ambulance Service of Mahishadal will provide special help in times of medical emergency.”
