Mahesh Jatav, the groom and a resident of the village, was in the middle of his wedding celebrations when tensions erupted. A group of neighbours reportedly demanded alcohol during the festivities, triggering a heated argument.

When the groom refused to arrange or finance liquor, the disagreement quickly escalated into a violent confrontation, turning the wedding venue into a battleground.

The groom’s mother, Sheela, revealed that the trouble began shortly after the bride arrived and the wedding rituals were underway. She alleged that a few neighbours approached her son, demanding money to purchase liquor.

When the demand was refused, the group allegedly launched a brutal attack on the groom and his family members. She further claimed that when she tried to intervene, the neighbours also assaulted her, her husband and even the bride.
