In a first ever, India and US are joining hands to co-host the Global Entrepreneurship Summit at Hyderabad, scheduled to start on November 28 this year. Incidentally, the American delegation will be led by President Donald Trump's daughter Ivanka.

In an announcement made by PM Narendra Modi yesterday, he said that the 3-day event would aim to bring together entrepreneurs of the two countries. The event is being organised by NITI Aayog, in coordination with the Ministry of External Affairs.

Modi had earlier Tweeted, "The Summit is a unique opportunity for bringing together entrepreneurs and start-ups with global leader." He further said, "Look forward to Ms Ivanka Trump's presence at GES 2017 Hyderabad as the leader of the US delegation."

It has been reported that Modi, during his meeting with Trump in Washington, had invited Ivanka for the GES. In reply to Modi's tweet, Ivanka said, "Thank you, Prime Minister Modi, for inviting me to lead the US delegation to the Global Entrepreneurship Summit in India this fall."
