Gurugram rape survivor shocks metro passengers, boards train with dead baby

Just the previous night, she was brutally gang raped by the driver and two co-passengers of a share auto in Gurugram’s Manesar.
Details of the horrifying rape that took place on the night of May 29 have begun to emerge. According to the latest news, the rape survivor saw her attackers fling her baby onto a road median. She saw her daughter’s head hit the concrete and became numb from that point on.
She couldn’t reach her husband or family
It was past 2am when the three men left. The woman didn’t have a cell phone, couldn’t reach her husband nor could she find any means of transportation. She waited in the quiet hours of the dark, alone with her dead daughter. In the early hours of May 30, she boarded an auto and went to her in-laws place in Old Gurgaon.
Her father-in-law accompanied her to a doctor where they were told the baby didn’t survive. She didn’t believe it and travelled to Delhi’s Tughlaqabad where her parents live, according to The Times of India.
Along with her dad, she visited another doctor, who told her 8 month old daughter was dead. At that point, she decided her next stop. It was to Gurugram police station to file an FIR against the three men who snatched an innocent life and flung it onto the road.
The police and her husband were waiting for her at the metro station. In her FIR, she said the men took turns to rape her. One person held the baby but they got increasingly agitated by the baby’s cries. It was then they flung the toddler onto the hard concrete.
The night of May 29
The 19-year-old grieving mother narrated the night of May 29. In the FIR, she mentioned that she left her in-laws house in IMT Manesar. The woman took a lift from a truck driver on NH 8 that night and he began to harass her, the report said.
She got down and boarded an auto headed towards Gurugram. It seemed like any other auto ride until the driver took a U turn, drove to a plot in IMT Sector 8 and the co-passengers began to make sexual advances at her.
Police release sketches
The police released sketches of the three accused and have asked people to come forward if they have any information. They have interrogated 50 auto drivers in the IMT Manesar area but haven’t found any leads yet.
