Coronavirus: Haryana DyCM Dushyant Chautala tests positive for COVID-19
The JJP chief also urged all those who had come in contact with him over the past week to also get themselves tested.
Chandigarh: Haryana deputy chief minister and Jannayak Janata Party leader Dushyant Chautala on Tuesday (October 6) announced on social media that he has tested positive for Covid-19.Â
In a video post on Twitter, Chautala has said that he is self-isolating despite not witnessing any symptoms, and has urged all those who came in contact with him in the last week, to get themselves tested for the infectious disease.
The JJP chief also urged all those who had come in contact with him over the past week to also get themselves tested.
The state DyCM’s Covid-19 positive result came in a month's gap of the CM's contracting the virus. On August 24, Haryana chief minister Manohar Lal Khattar had also tested positive for novel coronavirus infection.
Khattar had also urged his colleagues who came in contact with him over the past week to get tested for the virus as well.

"I appeal to all colleagues and associates who came in my contact over the last week to get themselves tested. I request my close contacts to move into strict quarantine immediately," Khattar posted on the micro-blogging site.
Haryana Assembly Speaker Gian Chand Gupta and two BJP MLAs had also tested positive for the highly contagious virus today, Health Minister Anil Vij said. Six assembly staffers have also tested positive for the disease, officials said.
