The students torched the coach so that they could take selfies with the burning bogie. Police had CCTV camera footage of the duo committing the crime. They have now been arrested and have confessed to the crime.
A police investigation in Bhopal has revealed that two minor boys had set fire to a railway coach of the Sushan Express in Gwalior for taking selfies and posting them on Facebook. The incident happened on August 4 at the Gwalior Railway station where the duo were caught taking selfies with a charred compartment.

The teens were Class X students at a local school in Gwalior. An RPF officer, speaking to the Deccan Chronicle said, "We have identified the two accused from the CCTV footage at the station. They were arrested and they have confessed that they had set the coach on fire to take selfies while it is burning and get likes for the photos on social media."
