BJP launches 'Lokkho Sonar Bangla' Campaign

The BJP on Wednesday (December 30) launched "Lokkho Sonar Bangla" campaign at party's election office in West Bengal.

BJP leaders will visit all 294 assembly constituencies in West Bengal from January 2.

On Wednesday, BJP Rajya Sabha MP Swapan Dasgupta and Dr Anirban Ganguly discussed the main purpose of the Sonar Bangla program at a press conference. 

Anirban Ganguly said, “In the last fifty years, West Bengal has not been given tenderness. We are talking about Sonar Bangla again and again. We will go ahead with some plans with foresight in mind. 2022 will mark the 75th anniversary of the formation of West Bengal. The current state of law and order in the state is very bad. Financial momentum has been stalled. The finance minister of West Bengal is not seen. With these, the Sonar Bangla program has been taken for the development of the state.”

"Prominent personalities will campaign in the Sonar Bangla program in 294 assembly constituencies of the state. The campaign will start on January 2 at each center. Prominent BJP leaders will go to the common people and ask about their problems. The party will turn Bengal into a Sonar Bangla in terms of development and every other aspect," he added.

The BJP will reach out to voters on issues including good governance, development and economic revival, youth's future, women empowerment, health infrastructure, poverty alleviation, rural and agricultural development, world-class infrastructure for West Bengal.
