Arunachal's Pigeon scare: Chinese bird 'caught' spying?
- Pigeon with Chinese tags and letters found in Arunachal Pradesh.
- Locals believe that the bird may have been carrying a spy camera.
- Rajnath Singh had asked the chief ministers of five states sharing their borders with China to be careful
The differences over the border between Arunachal Pradesh and China are quite known. However, this time, Arunachal Pradesh is facing a unique infiltrator- a Chinese pigeon. Forest department officials are worried sick about the pigeon that they have 'caught' with Chinese letters and numbers.
The locals of a village in the state's Anjaw district bordering China captured the pigeon on Sunday. The bird had Chinese tags with letters and numbers, which the villagers could not understand. They then informed the forest officials who too failed to decode the letters. The locals believed that the pigeon carried some spy camera, but nothing of that sort was found.Â
This comes as a recent development after Union Minister Rajnath Singh met the chief ministers of the five states who are sharing their borders with China. Singh had asked them to be alert.Â
