On 17 March 2026, most major cities in Uttar Pradesh will likely have normal and clear weather. The IMD says Lucknow, Kanpur, Prayagraj, and Banaras will have mainly clear skies. Ayodhya, however, might see some partial clouds. The strong sun will make the days feel a bit hot, but mornings and evenings should stay pleasant. The weather department has not issued any warnings for now.

Rising Heat

The weather department forecasts that the maximum temperature in many UP cities will be around 34 to 35 degrees Celsius on March 17. Lucknow may see a high of 35°C and a low of 21°C. Kanpur's maximum is likely to be 34°C with a minimum of 19°C. Both Prayagraj and Banaras could see temperatures touch 35°C. Ayodhya is also expected to have a maximum temperature of around 35°C.

With the third week of March here, the heat is gradually increasing across Uttar Pradesh. People might feel the warmth due to the strong daytime sun.
