Gentle cleaning: Wash the area with lukewarm water. Remember to change your tampons or pads after every four hours. To prevent any inconvenience, bring a pad or tampon when travelling.

Use soft pads: You are using breathable soft cotton pants that avoid infection in certain areas. Do not disregard an illness or rash in or around your genital area. Choose loose-fitting cotton clothing.

Drink enough water: Keep yourself hydrated by consuming adequate water. Water will help you feel better and de-bloat if your stomach is swollen.

Workout: Physical activity is crucial during menstruation. Walk or practise yoga as gentle exercise. Avoid strenuous weightlifting exercises that could lead to exhaustion.

Daily shower: Wash your genital region and take at least two daily showers. After using the loo or after replacing the pad, wash your hands. Dry your hair thoroughly. Useless chemical-containing goods should not be used there.
