As we all step into a new year with new prospects, one of the most talented actors of Bollywood, Vidya Balan turned 42 today. Here's how her career looks.
Vidya Balan a South-Indian, Bengali girl who debuted her acting career with a Bengali film, 'Bhalo Theko' in 2003. But she marked her presence in Bollywood industry since Parineeta starring Saif Ali Khan and others. A romantic musical drama helmed by Pradeep Sarkar.
She chose the role Manjulika for the movie Bhool Bhulaiya, a horror-comedy in 2007. She really proved with her acting skills that she is worthy enough to be in the long-running game.
She opted for Dirty Picture in 2011 a biography about South actress Silk Smita in 2011; it was a very bold step to take. In the meantime, she has given many flops and hits but didn't make a place in our hearts, but Dirty Picture turned her acting career.
In 2012, she bagged the leading role for Kahaani, a mystery thriller directed by Sujoy Ghosh with an impactful cast supporting her. But, she outshone in that film and did a wonderful job which left her audience spellbound.
She also has Begum Jaan under her sleeves. In her whole career, she never shied away to do bold scenes or roles. And, with this one, she proved how versatile she is. Audiences praised her acting skill in this movie.
Last but not least, Shakuntala Devi her recent venture. She acted in another biography of the math wizard, directed by Annu Menon. She again left no space to criticise, she is only and only praiseworthy. We wish her a very Happy Birthday!
