No intimate scenes for Alia Bhatt in Gangubai Kathiawadi
Sanjay Leela Bhansali has reportedly decided to drop the intimate scene involving Alia Bhatt and Shantanu Maheshwari in Gangubai Kathiawadi
The filmmaking in the post-coronavirus days is expected to go for changes. Notably, filmmakers are likely to have second thoughts about shooting intimate scenes.
Ever since the ace filmmakers of the industry announced his upcoming film Gangubai Kathiawadi with Alia Bhatt, fans were eagerly waiting for the updates regarding the film.
Now, the latest buzz is that Sanjay Leela Bhansali has decided to do away with the intimate scene in his upcoming movie Gangubai Kathiawadi.
The reason being the severe guidelines pertaining to social distancing to be implemented on shooting locations.
It was Bhansali’s decision to do away with a tender love sequence between Alia Bhatt and her love interest on screen which is played by dancer-turned actor Shantanu Maheshwari.
A source close to the development informed, “I guess it’s better to be safe than sorry in these troubled times. Physical intimacy would definitely be avoided in Bhansali’s shooting. He will find another way of showing a romantic closeness.”
Gangubai Kathiawadi will also star Ajay Devgn in a small but important role. The film also has Emraan Hashmi in the pivotal role. The shooting is now expected to resume after the monsoon.
