Deepika Padukone lives in Mumbai with her husband Ranveer Singh, but her parents still reside in India's Silicon City, Bengaluru. Therefore, she keeps visiting Bengaluru.
Before becoming a Mumbaiites, Deepika Padukone was living in Bengaluru with her parents. She did her schooling from popular girls school, Sophia High and completed her pre-university education at Mount Carmel College.
Later started doing modelling in the city and then began her career in Sandalwood. Since then, there has been no looking back. Now she is one of the top leading actresses in India.
Thanks to her work, she travels around the world and has a beautiful house in Mumbai. However, her parents still reside in Bengaluru. Therefore, she keeps visiting the city.
So, whenever in town, Deepika makes it a point to visit a few places she loves. One such place is Bengaluru's Veena Stores located in Malleshwaram.
A few years ago, Deepika had visited the store to have a bite of the freshly made Idli-Vada. To avoid unnecessary attention, she went in the morning at 6:30am. The actress also uploaded a selfie with the owner of Veena Stores, Mr Pradeep.
Deepika's parents live in Malleshwaram, and they are regular visitors of Veena Stores and CTR Dosa Corner. In many interviews, she said that her favourite food is Rasam and she loves home-made South Indian food.
Recently, Deepika shared a throwback picture of herself as a baby due to former cricketer Rahul Dravid's new viral ad. After Rahul Dravid proudly wore the 'Indiranagar ka Gunda' title in a ad, fellow Bangalorean Deepika has reserved the 'Indiranagar ka Gundi' title for herself.
Deepika shared a childhood picture of herself, sitting on the floor. “Indiranagar ki gundi hoon main," she captioned the post and added a laughter emoji.
