MS Dhoni enroutes to entertainment Industry post retirement

Former Indian skipper and the legendary player MS Dhoni is all set to amuse the fans, as he plans to hit the entertainment industry. Ever since his retirement on the evening this Independence Day, his fans have started wondering what potential thing MS Dhoni would pursue in his career next.
It is well known that Dhoni, like all other cricketers, has multiple businesses under his name. Besides his commitment to the nation, when he served in the army in between, he has yet another business dimension, which not many are aware of.
MSD has launched his banner ‘Dhoni Entertainment’ in 2019 and has even launched a multilingual documentary, ‘Roar of the Lion’. Their next project is a sci-fi web series, which explores the journey of a mysterious Aghori.
The couple together will be handling the projects in their production house. Sakshi Dhoni, MS Dhoni’s wife, is the managing director in their production banner. They have attained a fair number of projects, which the couple plans to undertake in 2021.
“We have acquired the rights of an unpublished book of a debutant author. We will adapt it into a web series. It is a mythological sci-fi story that explores the journey of a mysterious Aghori and is set at a high-tech facility on a remote island,” Sakshi told Mid-day.com. She added that this adventure drama will explore the genre of magical realism.
Dhoni is currently playing for the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in the UAE for this IPL season. The former Indian captain has been an iconic player for India and has brought laurels that India had never notched before.
