Dinesh Karthik has been married to Dipika Pallikal since 2015, while he has become a parent for the first time. He has become a father to twin baby boys, as he announced on social media on Thursday.
Veteran Indian wicketkeeper-batter Dinesh Karthik has hit another milestone in his personal life. He has become a father to twin baby boys, along with his wife, Dipika Pallikal, who is an Indian squash player. The birth of two twin boys is the first in his family, while they also have a dog along with them, who happens to be their family member.
Karthik took to his social media handles to share the fantastic news, as he also posted a couple of pictures of the occasions. In one of the pictures, they are seen inside their room, holding a baby each, along with their dog. On the other, they are seen seated at their lawn, having a baby each, while Karthik plants a kiss on Dipika's cheeks.

He captioned it, "And just like that, three became five 🤍 Dipika and I have been blessed with two beautiful baby boys 👶 Kabir Pallikal Karthik, Zian Pallikal Karthik, and we could not be happier ❤️". The post also saw comments from top cricketing celebrities, including Sanjana Ganesan, Shikhar Dhawan, Krunal Pandya, Kamlesh Nagarkoti, Jemimah Rodrigues and many more.

Later, Dipika too shared the same post on her social media handles, as she captioned, "And, just like that, three became five🤍 Dinesh, and I are very humbled to have been blessed with two beautiful baby boys, Kabir Pallikal Karthik & Zian Pallikal Karthik, and we could not be happier🤍".
Karthik has been married to Dipika since 2015. It is his second marriage after he had earlier married Nikita Vijay. However, after five years of marriage, the two got divorced in 2012, as Nikita reportedly had an affair with Karthik's Tamil Nadu and Indian teammate Murali Vijay, who she later married.
