The trailer of Kunchacko Boban's Take Off has been garnering a great response from the viewers and celebrities.

The filmmakers of the upcoming Malayalam film Take Off have released the theatrical trailer. The one-minute-27-second trailer has uploaded on the YouTube page of Anto Joseph Film Company. The trailer of Take Off was unveiled recently, and is creating a lot of buzz on social media.
Have a look:
Take Off, set in the backdrop of Iraq in 2014, revolves around the real-life saga of 19 Malayali nurses who were captured when ISIS took over the city of Tikrit, the hometown of former dictator Saddam Hussein. Kunchacko Boban and Parvathy Menon act as nurses who head to Iraq in the hope of a better life.
But unfortunately, they are trapped and struggle to escape from Tikrit. Fahadh Faasil plays the Indian ambassador who tried to save the nurses from Iraq after 23 days in captivity.
The movie's storyline is reminiscent of Akshay Kumar's blockbuster Airlift. That Bollywood was also based on a real-life story, about how Indians escape from a war zone in the Gulf, Qatar in that case.
Airlift was a hit and critically acclaimed. If Take Off matches Airlift's performance, it might open a whole new genre in Indian cinema - the tales of our expats. This has been an overlooked source of stories.
Take Off, is directed by debutant Mahesh Narayanan and scripted by PV Shajikumar and Mahesh. The movie also stars Asif Ali in a significant role and is expected to hit the screens in 2017.
