Friend or husband: Whom will Aishwarya Rai choose Abhishek or Shah Rukh?

These days Aishwarya Rai is high on filmmakers' demand. Recently there were reports, where Shailesh R Singh offered Aishwarya a movie with Abhishek.

The movie is based on a true story and about two IPS officers, who are husband and wife. The movie has the backdrop of Uttar Pradesh and its politics. 

And on the other hand, Sanjay Leela Bhansali also wants his muse Aishwarya to work in his next project. Aishwarya has featured in several of the filmmaker's movies, from Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam to Guzaarish. 

If the report in Mumbai Mirror is to be believed, the actress has said yes to Bhansali. Previously, he even offered her a special song in Padmavati, but she refused, all thanks to Salman Khan. It was said that the lyrics of the song were related to Salman Khan's film Dabangg.

To play the male lead opposite Aishwarya, Bhansali had kept Shah Rukh Khan and Abhishek Bachchan in his mind but he is yet to decide on the same.

Abhishek and Aishwarya are one of the most loved off-screen couples. Both have worked together in many films, like Guru, Umrao Jaan, Raavan, Kuch Naa Kaho, etc. But only Guru was declared a blockbuster.

On the other hand, Aishwarya Rai and Shah Rukh Khan have given two hits together Devdas and Mohabbatein. Both recently shared screen space in Karan Johar's Ae Dil Hai Mushkil where he had a cameo appearance as her ex-husband and fans loved their hot chemistry, even if it was just for one scene. 

Now the question is whom will Aishwarya and Bhansali choose for their next project.
