Who is Kormiyaki Lamarr? Know this Indian photographer who is gearing up for Oscars promotional shoot
A young photographer, Kormiyaki Lamarr, who hails from Meghalaya, India, is all set to shoot promotional content for Star Movies as Oscars will be telecasted on their channel in India.
FollowKormiyaki Lamarr has been working as a photographer in the Indian film and Fashion industry for quite a long time and has proved his name. Kormiyaki grabbed headlines when he shot a campaign shoot for Harper's Bazaar magazine. He also shot Kinfosher Calendar 2021 in Kerala.
 Kormiyaki was born and brought up in Meghalaya but took up the journey to Los Angeles for pursuing his career as a photographer In New York Film Academy.Â
Talking about the journey, he said to the media, "Journey from Shillong to LA has been a roller coaster. I have had so many obstacles; studying in a boarding school for 10 years really taught me to live independently. I have had a lot of good opportunities all because I put in the work and subsequently got noticed. I have encountered many different people and cultures in my journey, which has given me a different aspect of the world we live in and helped me capture it."

"Opportunities don't always come. You create your own, and having a strong mindset and putting the hours into it has helped me get to where I am today, I am grateful to have a family who always believed in my work, I couldn't have done it without them," he further added.
Kormiyaki recently got another big opportunity to shoot a promotional event for the Oscars and cannot keep calm. He said, "I am really excited for this opportunity, studying and living in Los Angeles over the past four years, movies and film have become an integral part of my life and to be able to be work on promotional content for a brand like Star Movies and that too for The Oscars, it would surely help me to expand Hollywood's reach in India. For me, it's an absolute honour."
