Did this actress attempt suicide by taking sleeping pills?

Actor Varun Sandesh’s actress wife Vithika Sheru took to Twitter to refute suicide attempt reports of his husband.

 
The false report about Vithika Seru's suicide attempt provoked a state of panic in Telugu film industry. A report, which was being widely circulated on media groups, claimed that Vithika committed suicide because of some family problem. 
 

The reports say her condition is critical and she has been admitted to a private hospital in Hyderabad. Things became worse when a few local reporters shared a picture of a lady from a hospital calling it Vithika. The news obviously spread like wildfire.

 
However, a couple of hours later, it became clear that the news is baseless as Vitihika took to Twitter and put an end to all the rumours. “Whatever the news is spreading around about us @iamvarunsandesh Everything is a just a rumour. We are doing great, “Vithika tweeted at 11.00 pm on Tuesday night. She also added that she will come live on a news channel tomorrow to clear all the doubts.

 
The couple recently returned from the USA, like many, Vithika too faced issues with climate change and immediately suffered from food poisoning and lack of sleep due to time-zone shift and jet lag.

 
According to Gulte, Vithika was worried about the sleep depravity and hence consulted a doctor and took some sleeping pills upon advice. 

 
In an interview with a news channel, Vithika Sheru said, "On July 10, the morning when Vithika was not waking up from her sleep, her parents got anxious and took her to Star Hospital." 

 
She continued saying, "Maybe if they have waited for two more hours, I would have woke up by myself. But as they are worried, they took me to Star Hospitals, and even doctors tried to wake me up through some methods. Who on earth would take only four sleeping pills to commit suicide? There is nothing such." 

 
She also said, "Within a month, our 1st anniversary is arriving, and we're looking forward to celebrating it at the newest destination." 

 
Varun and Vithika tied the knot on August 19, 2016, in Hyderabad. They reportedly fell in love while working together on 2015's Paddanandi Premalo Mari. It was during this film that they started dating each other. Soon after the film, they got engaged on December 7, 2015.
