Varun and Alia sizzle again in Badrinath Ki Dulhania trailer

The trailer carries a similar theme of an earthen love story with peppy crowd-pleasing elements that generally work for a film of this sort.

 

 

The film's trailer, which was released on YouTube on Wednesday has already crossed 8 million views in 24 hours. Both the actors have been appreciated for their sizzling chemistry in this all-new quirky love story. 

Not just their fans, but Bollywood stars are gushing over the fun trailer. Alia's 'Dear Zindagi' co-star Shah Rukh Khan was one of the first to take to Twitter to congratulate the lead stars.

 

 

Having said that the highlight of the trailer is Varun’s Badri act and he surely fits Badrinath’s character to the 'T'. Badri, who is madly in love with Vaidehi (Alia) and wants to marry her, keeps repeatedly approaching her. And Alia turns down his offers every single time.

 

In the trailer, we see Alia-Varun grooving to Tamma Tamma at a party and also have some desi dialogues which will definitely attract a lot of whistles in the cinema hall. 

 

 

All in all Badrinath Ki Dulhania looks like a fun filled ride. It is full of entertainment, desi-looks, outstanding dialogues and perfect comic timings. 

 

We love the joke cracked by Alia in the trailer about ‘simple and compound interest'. And of course, 'Tamma Tamma' (Bappi Lahiri and Anuradha Paudwal song) rehash with Badshah's rap in it adds to the flavour of the desi trailer.

 

The film also stars Gauhar Khan, Mohit Marwah, Shweta Basu Prasad and Girish Karnad. 

 

Badrinath Ki Dulhania is all set to release on March 10 during Holi.
