Actor Dileep met his family members at a relative's house in Aluva on Tuesday, 85 days after his arrest on charges of conspiracy in the Kochi actress attack case.
Hundreds of Dileep's supporters had assembled outside the Aluva sub-jail on Tuesday evening after news spread that the actor got bail.
According to reports, the actor has planned to stay at home for the next few days. Dileep, who has been away from his family for the past three months, is planning to spend some good time with wife Kavya Madhavan and daughter Meenakshi.
The last time when Dileep and Kavya met was during Onam at the Aluva sub-jail and on September 6 when he came out on parole and performed the death anniversary rituals of Dileep's father.
Reports also suggested that Dileep is planning to celebrate the success of his latest release Ramaleela, by watching a special screening of the movie along with his family members.
Dileep was arrested on July 10 while he was shooting for Rathish Ambat's Kammara Sambhavam. So, his immediate professional task would be to resume the shooting of the film.
Director K Ramachandra Babu, who had shot a week with Dileep for his film Professor Dinkan, has also welcomed the actor's bail. He also said the success of Ramaleela is a "positive sign".
"We are now hopeful that the film Professor Dinkan will happen this year. We are looking forward to finalising the other details after we meet Dileep," he said during an interview with the Times of India.
Another film which Dileep committed to is P Balachandrakumar's Pickpocket, which will be produced by his brother Anoop.
