In the year 1997, Priyadarshan's film Chandralekha which featured Mohanlal, Pooja Batra, Sreenivasan was released. Actress Pooja Batra is still remembered and loved by the Malayalee audience for her adorable chemistry with Lalettan. 

Pooja has been out of the limelight after she got married to an orthopaedic surgeon, Dr Sonu S. Ahluwalia, in Los Angeles. Later, in January 2011, she filed for divorce, citing irreconcilable differences.

 

She has been seen in many Bollywood films like Haseena Maan Jaayegi, Jodi No.1, Hum Tum, Shabana, etc. But let us go back to the movie Chandralekha which was a blockbuster and Pooja become quite popular in Mollywood circuits. Later, she appears in two more popular Malayalam movies and also in Tamil, Telugu.

 

 

 


Recently, the actress posted a few pictures on Facebook from her Norway holiday. The pictures are proof that Pooja is enjoying life at its best, and her perfect yoga postures are adding to the aesthetic pleasure. These locations are placed at captivating spots.

Pooja was also seen in Priyadarshan's Virasat which made her popular in Bollywood. Pooja has acted in three Malayalam films so far. Apart from Mohanlal's Chandralekha, she appeared opposite Mammootty in Megham and also played the leading lady in Jayaram's Daivathinte Makan.
 
She has also done one Hollywood movie, One Under The Sun where she played the lead role. The movie was a science fiction, which hit theatres in March 2017.
