The Ghazi Attack trailer leaves us spellbound

The Ghazi Attack is an epic underwater tale of the tremendous courage and undying patriotism of the men aboard the Indian submarine S-21. The movie is a story of  an episode from the India-Pakistan war, which was fought in secret and sadly, its heroes were never celebrated.

According to the reports, Ghazi Attack is the first war under the sea. The movie narrates an untold story which is based on Sankalp Reddy’s book Blue Fish, who happens to be the director as well.

Starring Rana Daggubati, Taapsee Pannu, Kay Kay Menon, Atul Kulkarni and in lead roles, it also stars the late Om Puri in an important role.

The story:

The Indian submarine S-21 destroyed the Pakistani submarine, PNS Ghazi when it ventured into Indian waters with the aim of destroying the INS Vikrant and conquering the Visakhapatnam port on the eastern coast of India in 1971.

Here the movie revolves around an executive naval officer and his team who had remained underwater for 18 days.

The movie is produced by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions and will release on February 17. It is a bilingual that will also release in Telugu.

Karan has taken to Twitter and written, “#TheGhaziAttack releases in theatres on 17th February 2017 Thrilled about this one. Dharma Productions is proud to partner with AA films for The Ghazi Attack – India’s first war-at-sea film!”

After watching the trailer, one genius director is in awe of The Ghazi Attack. Here we are talking about Baahubali director SS Rajamouli. He tweets, ‘How long we have been waiting for such movies to be made in India.’

Later, Rana took no time to give a response, "Thaaankkkkk you Captain!!!!!! It is you who helped us dream so big!!!.

While the trailer looks mind-blowing and promising, we can only hope that the movie does justice to the brave Indian Navy. The movie also has some unnecessary Bollywood romantic masala between Rana and Taapsee.
