Sumalatha vs Nikhil in Mandya: Sudeep conveys wishes to this candidate
Sudeep made his intentions clear about the Lok Sabha election and his support to this candidate in Mandya constituency. Who will Sudeep support - Sumalatha or Nikhil Kumaraswamy?
FollowBengaluru: After Sandalwood actors Darshan and Yash, now Sudeep has also joined them to talk about the Mandya Lok Sabha election. Though stars from Mandya, Darshan and Yash had openly declared their support to Sumalatha, Sudeep had kept mum.
Sumalatha, the wife of late actor-politician Ambareesh, also had told that she will not force anyone to support her and it was their choice to support anyone they like.
Now, Sudeep has taken to Twitter to convey his wishes to Sumalatha.
"My best wshs @sumalathaA akka. U have witnessed mama from the closest quarters. I'm sure his strength n support Wil come to u through the same people, whom u wanna serve. Mch luv n wshs akka (sic)," he tweeted.

Sudeep was very close to Ambareesh and called him mama (uncle). Ambareesh's last film to release was Ambi Ninge Vayassayto, where Sudeep played the role of young Ambareesh.
However, Darshan and Yash have openly said that are ready to campaign for Sumalatha. But Sudeep has restricted his wishes to social media and it is not sure if the actor will take part in campaigning for Sumalatha.
Meanwhile, in an interesting move, Darshan has said that he will support the JD(S) candidate Prajwal Revanna in Hassan. In fact, he is supporting Sumalatha against the JD(S) candidate Nikhil Kumaraswamy in Mandya.
