Jagadish Hosamutt, known as Jaguar Jaggi, had acted as the protagonist in the Kannada movie Sarkaar, the bullet. The movie was released in March 2018, but failed to make an impact on the box office.

After Sarkaar, Jaggi is said to have not got any other offer and was not working on any movie scripts.

It is said that Jagadish had got a loan of Rs 2 lakh from Mohammed Nizam, while shooting for Sarkaar. Nizam owns a pandal shop at HAL. Another accused Sathish is a small-time real estate agent and Syed has a meat shop.

In fact, Syed was earlier caught by the police while exchanging Rs 1.84 crore worth demonetised notes.

Mohammed Nizam and Jagadish were trying to sell pistols in the HAL police station limits on October 23. Police acted on a tip off and arrested both along with bullets and pistol. On interrogating the duo, they also revealed names of Satish and Syed and cops seized one pistol and 11 bullets from them.

Currently, the police is trying to find out the source of these bullets and pistols. Three to four people involved in this case are still absconding, said CCB's DCP S Girish.
